Each year the Peinhardt farm is open to the public one weekend in October. For 2024, the farm will be open on Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th. The farm is opened for everyone to come out and experience history in a setting that will take you back in history and allow you to actually participate in some “hands-on” work. Exhibits and demonstrations are spread over 40 acres. Events have included:

• Old time woodworking – hewing, splitting, crosscut sawing and old tools
• Mules, horses and wagon rides
• Antique tractor shows
• Museum
• Field crops
• Petting animals
• Sorghum syrup making
• Grist mill
• Blacksmith – horseshoeing
• Sawmill

Farm Day 2024 will be held two days – Saturday, October 19th 9:00 am – 3:00 pm and Sunday, October 20th 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Admission is $10 per person (age 2 and under free). Cash or check only.
